Level Up Insulation was contracted by my pest control service, Saela, to mitigate a mice & rat infestation in my home's crawl space. Two technicians, Afren and Alberto, removed all the contaminated wall insulation and the ground moisture/radon barrier in the crawl space. They sanitized the crawl space, then installed new wall insulation and radon barrier over the ground. They bagged all the contaminated materials and disposed of it all without leaving a trace behind (they protected the basement living area and 1st floor hallways with plastic sheeting). Afren and Alberto were friendly and professional, and super hard-working. That job would've taken me a week, and they banged it out in half a day. The finished job looks amazing... clean, bright and fully sealed. I highly recommend Level Up Insulation, as well as Saela Pest Control.

Expert Attic Insulation Materials in Denver, CO
Attic insulation materials are the foundation of a comfortable, energy-efficient home in Denver. The Denver metro sits in Climate Zone 5B, a cold, dry zone where attics must work hard against freezing winters, intense high-altitude sun, and wide daily temperature swings. Many homes across Littleton, Englewood, Centennial, and Parker were built before modern energy codes took effect, leaving attics under-insulated by today's standards. The right materials help stop heat from escaping in winter and block radiant heat gain in summer. At Next Level Home Services, we treat every home as if it were our own. That means giving you honest guidance on which attic insulation materials fit your home's structure, your current R-value, and your comfort goals, not just whatever is easiest to sell. We serve homeowners across Denver, Cherry Hills, Boulder, Longmont, Louisville, Castle Rock, and Castle Pines. If your upper floors feel drafty in winter or stuffy in summer, the attic is usually the place to start. Reach out to get honest recommendations and the right materials for your home.

Attic Insulation Materials FAQ
Common questions about attic insulation materials in Denver, CO.
Denver's Climate Zone 5B calls for materials that reach a high R-value and hold up against cold winters and intense summer sun. Blown-in and batt options are both common choices for homes across the Denver metro, and the right fit depends on your attic's layout and current insulation level.
Denver falls in Climate Zone 5, where attic insulation targets typically range from R-49 to R-60. Many homes in Englewood, Littleton, and Parker were built before these levels were required, so topping up existing material is a common starting point.
In many Denver homes, new material can go over existing insulation if it is clean, dry, and not compacted. If the existing material is damaged, wet, or contaminated, removal is the better path before adding anything new.
Signs include uneven temperatures between floors, higher-than-usual energy bills, drafts near the ceiling, or visible moisture and damage in the attic space. Homes in Castle Rock and Centennial built before 1990 often show these signs due to age and settling.
Yes, proper attic insulation materials help keep the roof deck at a more even temperature, which reduces the cycle of snow melting and refreezing at the eaves. This is a real concern for homeowners across Boulder, Longmont, and Louisville during winter.
We serve homeowners across Cherry Hills, Castle Pines, and all of our listed service areas with honest recommendations based on your home's specific needs. Our goal is to help you choose the right attic insulation materials, not just the most convenient option.
