Expert Rodent Proofing in Denver, CO

Rodent proofing is the process of finding and sealing every gap, crack, and opening that lets mice and rats into your home. At Next Level Home Services, we treat every home the way we would treat our own, which means honest assessments and quality work on every visit. Denver and the surrounding communities face real rodent pressure. Colorado's freeze-thaw cycles expand small cracks in foundations and siding over time, turning minor gaps into open entry points. Properties near open spaces in areas like Parker, Castle Rock, and the foothills corridor can see heavier activity from deer mice and pack rats. We inspect the full perimeter of your home, including foundation lines, utility penetrations, rooflines, vents, and door sweeps. Every gap we find gets sealed with materials built to hold. We serve homeowners across Denver, Cherry Hills, Littleton, Centennial, Englewood, Boulder, Longmont, Louisville, and Castle Pines. If you are ready to stop rodents at the source, contact us to schedule your inspection.

Rodent Proofing FAQ

Common questions about rodent proofing in Denver, CO.

Droppings, gnaw marks, or scratching sounds inside walls are clear signs your Denver home has a rodent problem. Rodent proofing seals the entry points so new rodents cannot follow the same paths inside.

We inspect the foundation, utility line penetrations, vents, rooflines, garage door sweeps, and any visible gaps along the exterior. Homes in Littleton and Centennial with older foundations often have settling cracks that are common entry points.

Yes, rodent proofing focuses on physically blocking entry points rather than using traps or bait alone. It stops rodents from getting inside in the first place, which is the most direct way to protect your home in areas like Parker or Castle Pines.

Yes, a mouse can squeeze through a gap roughly the width of a pencil, so even small cracks matter. Colorado's freeze-thaw cycles widen foundation and siding gaps over time, which is why homes across the Denver metro benefit from a thorough inspection.

Rodent proofing before an infestation is far easier to manage than dealing with one after rodents are already nesting inside. Homes near open spaces in Boulder, Longmont, and Louisville are especially worth inspecting before cold weather drives rodents indoors.

We serve homeowners across the greater Denver area, including Cherry Hills, Englewood, Centennial, Parker, Castle Rock, Castle Pines, Boulder, Longmont, and Louisville. Contact us to confirm service for your specific address.

Level Up Insulation was contracted by my pest control service, Saela, to mitigate a mice & rat infestation in my home's crawl space. Two technicians, Afren and Alberto, removed all the contaminated wall insulation and the ground moisture/radon barrier in the crawl space. They sanitized the crawl space, then installed new wall insulation and radon barrier over the ground. They bagged all the contaminated materials and disposed of it all without leaving a trace behind (they protected the basement living area and 1st floor hallways with plastic sheeting). Afren and Alberto were friendly and professional, and super hard-working. That job would've taken me a week, and they banged it out in half a day. The finished job looks amazing... clean, bright and fully sealed. I highly recommend Level Up Insulation, as well as Saela Pest Control.

Level Up did a good job. Protected the floors through the house and furniture in the access points. Crew was friendly. The job progressed at a good pace. My house already seems less dusty and the air just a bit crisper. The owner/manager was easy to work with and responsive.

We had Level Up install blown in insulation in our Denver attic after our energy audit showed we were way under the recommended R-value. The team was in and out in half a day, and the difference was immediate. Our second floor used to be ten degrees warmer than the main level in summer — now it's even throughout. Great experience with the blown in insulation in our Denver attic.
